Painted White is an online shop run by Alice Wingerden, with the help of my adoring husband, Joshua. My love of all things old, worn, French, and romantic inspired the creation of this website in 2007. I love inspiring others through my artwork, offerings, graphic and interior designs. I am proud to have my artwork and home interiors featured in various magazines including Somerset Wedding, Somerset Life and Porch, and the book, Hot Cottage Collectibles, as well as in various blog articles and features. My artwork and offerings have been sold all over the world to places as far as Italy, France, Germany and India.

Joshua and I live outside of Rochester, NY with our adorable and high maintenance, Cairn terrier, Renoir. He is the love of our lives.

Joshua and I are both of the Christian faith and strive to live positive lives serving others and spreading God's love throughout this earth, not with loud, boastful words or judgments, but by meeting & loving others right where they are.   

I am thankful to God each day for the ability to live my dream through this business. I am touched very often by kind souls who write just to tell me how I have inspired them. That makes all the hard times worth it to me. I dedicate my work and business to my grandmother, Kay DeWind, who was an artist in her day and still serves to inspire me through her faith in God and love for her family. I only hope that I can be as talented as she one day.
